Image Consent
When you join St James Primary, we ask you to consent to images or videos of your child being used in a number of different categories. These are:
- Within school (in their classroom, on notice boards around school)
- In the school newsletter (please note this is published on our website)
- On our Instagram account
- In national media
From time to time, we produce promotional marketing such as banners on our gates, our school prospectus or an open day invitation. We will always contact you to request your permission to use an image or video of a child in this way.
Please note you do not have to consent to any use of your child’s image and we regularly remind parents and carers that they are able to change their consent level at any time. You can do this by emailing us at office@stjamesprimaryschool or completing a change form on our website
We do not allow any third party to take photos or videos of your child unless we have your consent.
