Open Mornings for Prospective Parents And Carers

We've love to show you around our wonderful school and give you the chance to meet our amazing staff and children.    We have open mornings for prospective parents and carers on the following days

Tuesday 24th September, 9.30am

Saturday 19th October, 10am - 12 noon.  Staff and children will be here to welcome you and show you round our wonderful school.

Tuesday 12th November, 9.30am

Tuesday 10th December, 9.30am

Wednesday 8th January, 9.30am

Do we have to go to church to be offered a place at St James Primary?

No - we are a local school and offer at least 50% or over of our Reception places to children from the local community.  

Do we have to be of CofE faith for my child to be offered a place at St James Primary?

No - just over 50% of the children and families at St James Primary are of faiths other than CofE or with no faith at all.

Do we have to live within a certain distance of school to be offered a place at St James Primary?

No - because we are a church school our admissions system is slightly different which means we have a much wider catchment area than many other local schools.  At this moment in time we have families and children from the following postcodes:

N10, N2, N3, N6, N7, N11, N17, N22 and NW11

Do we need to apply via Haringey for an in year place?

No - you can email us direct on office@stjamesprimaryschool.co.uk to ask about in year places or call us on 0208 883 6540.

Can we come and look round?
