Newsletter 24th April 2020

Welcome to our first Summer term newsletter. We want you to know that we miss you all very much but it is wonderful to see you on our class Zoom chats and we love seeing all your pictures from home.   If you have any for the next newsletter, please email them to office@stjamesprimaryschool.co.uk.  In the meantime, here are just a few of the things we have been up to this week. 

Annabel made an Easter hamper for the incredible staff in the 'end of care' team at the Whittington hospital.

Well done to everyone who entered the Royal Academy of Art, Young Artist Summer Show  as part of their Easter project.  

Creating and Playing

We've been doing lots of cooking and baking.  Baz has been making spaghetti, Mrs Moore has baked biscuits, Elouisa has been creating mocktails and Mrs Girling has baked a quiche for her family.

Skills and Hobbies

Elouisa has been riding her bike, Georgiana has been putting on piano concerts for her teddies, Alice has been learning to cut out a pattern and Mrs Kirkley has been growing lettuce from seeds; Anabelle has been adding to her gallery; Sara has been painting,  and Dane has been inspired to write a 15 page story!

Our Home Learning

Well done to everyone who is completing their home learning and taking part in Zoom chats with their teachers, It's great to see you all getting really involved.
