St James C of E Primary School

Welcome to our school website which I hope you will find both informative and a reflection of what is happening here at St. James School. We are a church school and our Christian values underpin a lot of our work and aspirations both for the children and the whole school community.

School Trips

At St James, all our children go on school trips and visits.  A copy of the details of your child's trip will be sent home via email.  There are always extra copies available outside the School Office.  The date of their trip will also be on the Calendar and we'll tell you all about them in the weekly newsletter.

If you would like to accompany a class on their school trip to let the Office know that you are available and they will get back to you to let you know if your help is needed.  We try to make it as fair as possible and give all parents who would like to go the chance.

If you have been picked to help with a trip then you will be asked to read and sign the parent volunteer guidelines which you can find here and the parent volunteer agreement for which you can see here.

When our children go on school trips is it vital that we have their up to date medical details such as doctors name, any allergies, parent's emergency contact number, so we will regularly send home a medical consent form by email.
